The Harbour Project welcome and support refugees and asylum seekers in Swindon. For those who’ve risked their lives, families and homes fleeing war and persecution, they provide friendship and hope for a future. With this purpose, they’ve been working since 2000. They became a registered charity in 2003 when a small team of staff committed resources to running daily drop-in services, Monday to Friday.
The Harbour Project helps asylum seekers and refugees. Simple. Recent events such as the Arab Spring and the Syrian conflict have driven people to us from affected countries. Others arrive from countries like Eritrea, Iraq and Somalia where human rights are abused, daily.
